So, I'm way behind the trend here, but I spotted a cool light on a fixie on flickr: And apparently you can get them here: http://www.goodbyebatteries.com/home/ They are powered by magnets on the wheels. No cables, no batteries. Cool! ...but they are $43.95 a set. Guess I'll keep thinking about it....
